As I drove out of the parking lot of the mechanic's shop on Saturday after getting my oil changed, I literally pulled into a car show. Unintentional, of course, as I really had no idea what was going on over there. But it was a great chance for an impromptu photo shoot of cars (and a fire truck). Here are a few of my favorite images from my random adventure!

I love to play games. I'm not entirely competitive and don't really care if I win, I just like the challenge of trying to outsmart someone else within the circumstances that lie before me...within the proverbial "hand that i've been dealt." During a recent Monopoly marathon I captured these images in between turns. :)

I recently had the privilege of shooting the engagement session of my fabulous friend Stephanie and her fiance' Houston. We headed out to Neptune Beach for a diverse array of landscapes and colors. I had no idea just what an amazing location it is! The weather has been pretty inconsistent here in the 'Ville lately. Nevertheless, I decided to drag myself out of bed early last Thursday morning to go watch the sunrise at Jacksonville Beach. There wasn't much sun but it was an enjoyable experience just the same. Going back to my previous work from the same location and I am finding that I often take very similar pictures or pictures that are almost compositionally identical without even knowing it. So this time I was determined to find a new perspective in beach photography! ...I actually ended up taking the same exact shot I took about a year ago without even knowing it. ...I just had to think, "Am I so fabulous that even I copy myself, or am I just that psychotic?" ha!
