I had the privilege recently of attending the Just Go! Rally featuring the David Crowder Band. I was kind of reluctant to transport all of my camera gear out to the show at the Veterans' Memorial Park, but I'm pretty glad I did. I felt right at home with all of the other kids out there taking pictures and lugging around their camera equipment. Except I didn't feel a special connection to the lady with the Nikon. Yeah, not so much. Overall, it was a great show and I learned how to jump properly, courtesy of the people seated in front of me. It was also the first time I was able to use my vintage Yashica telephoto lens! Ok, of course nothing beats the image stabilizers! However, I'm finding I really like this lens. It has so many good manual capabilities and it really allows me to broaden my creative perspective. It's very "old school." Love. it! Here are my favorite shots of the night:
